SKY2 Partnership - Solar Tracker
A student project, partnering with Sky2 to create an environmentally friendly consumer product.
Concepts were to be well thought out in terms of design, materials, energy, and feasibility.
Solar Tracker is a solar powered speaker system that uses light-tracking technology to keep the solar panels facing towards the sun for optimal charging throughout the day.
My roles in the project included:
-
Head designer

Concept creator
-
Secondary researcher

Integrated Design - SIGNAL Helmet
A student project where an emerging technology had to be integrated into a consumer product.
Built in a group of four, SIGNAL is a helmet designed to use BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) to give the user a better and safer experience on any human-powered vehicle (e.g. a skateboard or bicycle).
SIGNAL has a light system similar in look to that of a car's front and rear lights (break lights, turning signal lights, and forward front lights). These lights are controlled by the user through "think-power" and was designed to fit all ages.

• Design assistant
• Project manager
